Few things you need to think about when you are thinking detailing carts.
Safety
You have to think about what's going to happen if the cart ever slide and hit a car that you are working on! Now, if this happen to be your car, it will definitely by devastating to see a dent or a scratch caused by your own cart, but if it is a customer's car, now you have a PROBLEM! So you always have to pad the sides of the cart to prevent any damages if and when the cart slides toward your car or any valuable objects.
Utility
You have to make sure that the cart is ready to serve the purpose it's built for and that is to save time and effort. I personally added outside bins, also from Home Depot and I padded them also and I added a Surge protector on the side of the cart (See pictures below)
The bins are definitely extremely helpful since I have dedicated one bin for something, like one bin for the interior brushes, one bin for the painter's tape needed for polishing, one bin for the glass scrapers to take out any sticker residue or even bird poop. The surge protector has been proven to be invaluable because you only have to worry about one cord going to a power outlet and then every other equipment you can plug in to the surge protector next to you, so you don't have to keep walking back and forth every time you want to do something, like vacuuming, polishing, etc...
